About Cruze Natural
For ten years, from 2008 to 2018, the Natural Tango Festival brought together Tango artists—dancers, musicians, and visual artists—who were open and eager to exchange knowledge, experiences, resources, learning and teaching skills, inspiring narratives, creative ideas, and expansive thoughts and emotions. Naturally, this exchange enriched not only our own artistry and social dance experience but also that of the dancers and audiences who joined us for the workshops, lectures, social dances and performances.
CRUZE NATURAL DE ABRAZOS is born with the same spirit and mission: to be a welcoming spacetime for the open and respectful discussion of different ways of thinking of the Dance. The beauty and complexity of Argentine Tango continues to evolve—a clear testament to the art form’s vitality!. At Cruze Natural we aim to honor this natural process, by fostering encounters where tradition and innovation are not at odds, but rather in conversation. At Cruze Natural, we believe that Tango thrives when it is nourished by diverse perspectives, when curiosity is valued over certainty, and when the embrace becomes a bridge between differences.
We invite you to partake in a thought-provoking journey of learning, where you’ll engage with a rich spectrum of methodologies, styles, and forms of expression within Tango dance. Each workshop offers a unique topic, looked at from many angles and explored through the distinct yet interconnected perspectives of three, four, and even six teachers at a time!
May this collaborative approach bring deeper understanding, spark new insights, and celebrate the multiplicity at the heart of Tango’s ever-evolving spirit.
